18 Months

Here is a new picture of my favorite girl! I have decided that hands down that 18 months is my absolute favorite age so far (and I loved the baby stage). Katelyn is so amazing and I think overnight she found her voice, she talks all day long. I can't believe how much she is learning each day and how many words she can say - I simply cannot get enough of her these days. My favorite thing is that every time you hand her something she says "tank you mommy", I don't even ask her to say it to me. Kate is such a cuddle bug too and I LOVE to cuddle, sometimes I think I could rock her all night. Last Monday morning I was so tired when she woke up at 6:30 and I put her in the bed with me (she does not normally sleep with us so i was prepared for her to want to play) but she laid on my chest and slept with me till 8:15 - I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I just keep thinking how incredibly blessed I am with this amazing child! I thought I would share that with you everyone:)! I know it has been awhile since I posted on here, I guess I have been busy. I am not keeping any children full time but each week there are some neighbors who have needed help so it is more sporadic, I like it that way. I so enjoy having children here with Katelyn and she loves to play with everyone who comes. I have been working out like crazy trying to lose the rest of this baby weight and for those who didn't see me pregnant, I gained 50lbs in 22 weeks!! My goal was to gain 75 total which is pretty common in a triplet pregnancy - I have 4lbs to go. I also have been reading a lot, I love to get lost in a good book and my sister Kristie has me hooked on a new series of books. For those of you that like to read, I am reading Karen Kingsbury's Redemption Series. OH I can't put them down, she is a Christian author and the books are awesome! I highly suggest reading them. Katelyn loved playing in the snow we had last week-end, I was out of town but her daddy took her out to play. My poor daughter is so fanatic about being clean so she didn't like the snow falling on her, when the snow stopped falling she enjoyed playing outside. Not much else has been going on in our lives which is nice. I am so happy January is almost over, I feel like January can be so slow and gloomy, I am ready for spring. February is a busy month with Jeff's birthday, Valentines Day, our Anniversary, possibly a girls trip to Charleston and our cruise!! It will be March before we know it!

Hi there good to see you back on the blog. I like the new look! That pic is just adorable. I love this age too. Lindsay was just 19 months on the 20th. I agree with you...so ready for Jan to be over. Lindsay gets tubes put in this week and I'm ready for us to be over that hump too. Can't wait to hear more about your upcoming trips. Take Care!
