Cruising!!!

Getting ready to sail away...

View of our ship from Coco Cay!

We had such an amazing time on our trip, it is hard to believe it is already over! Jeff and I actually left on Thursday afternoon and went to spend the night with our friends in Savannah. The Marsh family just moved a few months ago and we couldn't wait to see their house and the kids! We got in around 8 and headed to River Street to enjoy some seafood and cocktails! It was so fun to catch up with our friends and to start our vacation a day early. Friday morning we left around 8am and arrived at Port Canaveral around 1:30, we thought we were so early but there were a lot of people already on the ship. Jeff and I were like two kids in a candy store soaking it all up, it was perfect weather, the band was playing on deck and there was enough food to feed an army! It was perfect from start to finish. We enjoyed everything about the ship and the weather was perfect, 80 degrees and sunny! Saturday we ported in Nassau but Jeff and I opted to stay on the boat for the day and enjoy the time together, we played some ping pong, basketball, read, and sat by the pool talking for hours, it was awesome! Around 5 we got off the boat in Nassau and walked around (stopping in Senor Frogs for a cold refreshment:)! Sunday was by far the best day at the Royal Caribbeans private Island of Coco Cay, it was completely private so there were no vendors hounding you, you just showed up and did whatever you wanted. They had miles and miles of beach chairs, gazebos on the beach with beach chairs, a band playing, a cookout, beach bars, volleyball, water slides, you name it! We opted to totally relax there as well and just enjoyed the weather and the scenery. It was a perfect week-end and I am sad it is over but I missed Katelyn so much! We decided that was our max time in leaving Kate, one more day would have been too much. Katelyn had a blast with everyone here who took care of her but she was so happy to see her mommy and daddy on Monday. I have hardly put her down since we got home!

I am so happy for you guys! Sounds like a dream weekend! You guys SO deserved it! I so wish we had time for that! Isn't it always the best feeling to come home and be missed by your child SO much! It makes motherhood (and fatherhood) that much MORE special!
